The Accelerated Institute of Ministry was started in 1999 by the vision of Dr. Phil Redding. It began as an opportunity for people seeking ministerial license with the Pentecostal Church of God and quickly expanded to include laity from different denominations. While all of the minister's series is included in the curriculum numerous elective courses have been offered such as Youth Ministry, The Pastor's Wife, The Trinity, Eternal Security, Bible Prophecy, Music in the Church, Training for Ministerial Chaplaincy, Crisis Counseling, etc. Each year dozens of students graduate at the Arkansas District Convention in a Friday night ceremony in one, two, three and four year certificate programs.

What to expect when you take our courses
Our instructors are passionate about Christ and the ministry. On the second Saturday of each month of the semester (first Saturday in February) we gather at 9:30 a.m. Nine class options in three time slots are available to each student. Classes are 90 minutes in length. Around noon. a delicious meal is served in the campus dining hall. The cost of this meal is included in your tuition. Classes end around 3 p.m.
The physical address of the Accelerated Institute of Ministry is 824 Main Street, Conway Arkansas. If traveling on Interstate 40 take Exit 127 (Oak Street) and go east 8 miles to Highway 64B (just past the 8 Mile Convenience Store). Highway 64B is the 7th traffic signal from the Interstate. Turn left and go approximately 2 miles. Campus is on the right.
scholarships
At this time there are six scholarships for students who attend campus classes. The E.P. Dougan, Sr. Scholarship (3) for pastoral candidates, E.L. and Laverne Redding Scholarship, Phil and Sharon Redding Scholarship and the Brenda Andrews Scholarship (1) for the individual with the highest grade point average for the previous year. The scholarships are reserved for students with at least 1 year of campus classes.
